RUBBISH COLLECTION: RESIDENTS ONLY
Our waste will be collected on Thursday.
The trash pickup for Rumpke will be changing as of May 1, 2017. As per the map: east side of State Route 8, which is the BROWN part of the map will have trash pickup on Mondays. west side of State Route 8, which is the BLUE part of the map, will have trash pickup on Tuesdays.
NOTICE: All new residents need to contact Rumpke directly to set-up their rubbish pickup.

Residents will receive a quarterly invoice from Rumpke.
The contract term shall run from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2018. The unit price per house per month shall be as follows:
$11.50 1st year (Oct. 2013- Sept. 2014)
$11.85 2nd year (Oct. 2014-Sept. 2015)
$12.21 for 3rd year (Oct. 2015-Sept. 2016)
$12.58 for 4th year (Oct. 2016-Sept. 2017)
$12.96 for 5th year (Oct. 2017-Sept. 2018)
Rumpke offers several bill payment options, including online, check, money order or credit card by phone (a convenience fee of will apply to credit card payment made by phone.)
Seniors that are 65 yrs and older receive free trash pickup paid for by Village of Northfield. To sign up please stop into the Dept. of Public Service at 199 Ledge Rd to complete application and submit copy of drivers license.

Community Recycling Drop-Off Location at the Village Service Department
Residents are encouraged to recycle at the community recycling location at the Village Service Department, 68 Houghton Rd. Please recycle the following items: glass beverage bottles and food jars, plastic milk containers, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, steel cans, newspaper, magazines, copy paper, paperboard (i.e.cereal boxes), envelopes and junk mail. Motor oil, anti-freeze, pesticides and herbicide containers must be completely clean and free of residue.

The Village has a recycle truck located at the Service Department garage at 68 Houghton Rd for residents to drop of their paper, plastic, aluminum and cardboard recyclables. Access to this truck is Monday-Friday 7:30a-3:30p.
